Springer season has started in full swing on both the Willamette and Columbia Rivers! Last week was a bit spotty both for those in the KNOW and first timers. With todays cold temps and SNOW (can't believer it snowed yet again) here in Portland area it could slow the bite a bit more till later in the week when temps stablize in the lower 50's again. Lots of rain in the forecast too will not help the fishing, but by next week it should be game on!!! Still thinking about booking a trip!!?? Do it now in March for bigger fish and less pressure on the water this time of year while many are still searching out Winter Steelhead in the tribs. Speaking of which, winter steelheading is at its peek and should be on the down turn but am still seeing lots of chrome bright fish being caught!! More natives then hatchery fish but come on..its mid-March!!
Quit wishing...its TIME to go fishing with one of the best local guides!!!
